This being the very first publishing of the humor farm, I figured I would mention a few choice gems. This last week, I received from my cousin Ahmed the Labels piece that I think I have seen before but has been improved with "comeback lines."

That one put me and a few other people in mind of the great physics warning labels email.

As long as I was picking themes, nothing amuses me more than a good haiku, so I drug out the Cat haiku (Nils from Ron-l) and from the "don't believe the hype but definitely spread it" file, the Y2K haiku. I am somehow missing the Windows NT haiku. Perhaps someone else has it.

A couple of others that caught my eye were the infamous Starbucks press release and OEDIPUS DAKING, the ancient tragedy retold using only California state vanity plates. Pure genius. Long live DAKING.

Next time: Great links.

Behold! This is my data...
Sitting in traffic on Sahalee Way, thinking about my web site, the one that I had not got around to yet, but that really was going to be simply grand, I wondered well, what, if anything I could put on it that would be of interest to the general bulk of humanity. Specifically, I was relating to the (my) concept of data farming. All web sites (or all interesting ones) have content, which is the essence of the attraction to the site. So, casting about for some data that I had that might be generally interesting, I settled on my Humor/Wierd email folder. Taking advantage of the FrontPage Server Extensions' Search Bot, and revelling in the technical challenge of processing a bazillion emails into web pages, I have accomplished -- what?

Note that I still seem to be missing quite a few, including the Dan Quayle quotes. If you are thinking I am missing something, feel free to send me email.
